The Mountain Resource Center (MRC) is located in Conifer, Colorado and serves the community in which the Deer Creek Challenge's course is located. It provides the following services to over 4,800 individuals annually:
MRC's goal is always to move people toward self-sufficiency, but the recent recession has caused mass job loss. In 2009, MRC experienced a 48% increase in the number of services provided. This year, visits to the food pantry have increased 142%. The Mountain Resource Center needs your help to give HOPE to local at-risk children and families.
